This was my first read by R.J. Prescott it was an enjoyable enough read. In this book we get Marie and Kieran story; Kieran is all alpha and sexy, sweet, Marie s beautiful, smart and sassy these two complement each other. Marie Kelly is a survivor who doesn’t know when to quit, living a life she never dreamed of; that’s until a stubborn boxer makes her want more. Kieran hasn't had it easy when losing his father at a young age; he has been a fighter at Driscoll’s Gym for most of his life content with his best friend taking the spotlight. Kieran has blocked himself from relationships with women but when he meets Marie everything changes. Marie has a secret that makes her push away Kieran because she can’t stand to hurt him so she keeps pushing him away. Against all the odds can these 2 make it?
