This is Paige and Derek’s story; they each have lived through troubles and struggles to come out on the other side. They are drawn to each other but know that this is not going to be easy. Derek is struggling. Ever since the incident which landed him in prison for a while he's trying to stay sober. Paige is stuck at a dead end. Having had her fair share of trauma she's settled for working in a pizzeria and living on her own in a huge house which was her grandparents. Derek knows there’s something special about Paige, she’s not another score for him and he wants to try harder battling his addiction to be a better man for her. Although Paige hasn’t told him, he knows she has her own demons she’s battling.
