Review: Preppy: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Three

Preppy: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Three Preppy: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Three by T.M. Frazier
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 PREPPY Bow-ties *****
O gosh how do I even start to write this without trying not to freak out the F out because this is the end and I don’t think I can truly deal with it, T.M. Frazier has done a knockout job with this series and the man I just read about “WOW”!! Dam “Allergies”. I thought King was my favorite I completely swooned over him, but then Bear I was like OMFG I need him now please, but Preppy who was always who I wanted I just wasn’t ready to admitted it he holds a very special spot in my heart. I felt everything Preppy felt when he laughed I laughed, when he wanted to kill I wanted to kill, when his “allergies” acted up mines did too, when he poured his heart out I felt in mines, when he would panic I did too, when his sadness came through I felt it too, his playlist is my playlist. DAM “ALLERGIES”
So I won’t give too much away because you just need to read this book. Just as things start to settle for Preppy and Dre they finally thought they could be happy but the world had other plans for them. Preppy is trying to figure out who’s out for him but he can’t be too careful when he has new people (Kevin lost brother) around him and family or could this be from when he was in Narnia or is this pay back from way back or something to do with Bo? You MUST read to find out!

Damaged Locke Damaged Locke by Victoria Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 Fantastic Stars *****
I absolutely a big fan of Victoria Ashely and Jenika Snow this is the first time reading anything with her and I was not let done by either one of them. Kadence is new town and was warn from the moment she set foot in town stay away from the Locke brothers they are nothing but bad news. Aston and his brothers one night where out handling business as usual when someone catch’s Aston eye across the street when their gazes locked he also felt that pull on all his senses. Kadence doesn’t run like everyone else she looks Aston right in the eyes he may be covered in blood and gore on his knuckles but there's something about him that calls to a part of her. When Kadence and Aston finally meet its insta-possessiveness insta-lust insta-love; all this had me stuck to my kindle reading just to get more Aston and Kadence and the Locke brother’s. Review: Burn Down the Night

Burn Down the Night Burn Down the Night by Molly O'Keefe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**5 breathtaking stars! ***
Burn Down The Night is not only a beautiful romance but is also a story of redemption and finding someone whose inner demons play well with your own demons. Joan and Max’s story is dark and twisted I was pulled in the story from the beginning, the action and the suspense popped up from the first pages making me not been able to put the book down. Max had his fate or luck by his side and by being in the wrong place the wrong time. Joan's (Olivia) only mission was to free her sister from the lunatic Lagan and she will do anything to succeed. That even includes hostage taking the President of a Motorcycle Club Max. Joan and Max have a peculiar dynamic neither of them are willing to let down their guards and truly open up to each other. In the crazy battle of head games their wild attraction; there are all sorts of teasing, touching, watching and even a surprising F/F scene as they battle for this control. This is a steamy read and it has you edging. There are all kinds of teasing and pulling out emotionally and physically until finally she eventually succumbs. Burn Down The Night is the third book in the series and be read it just fine as a standalone (so going back to read the first two) and this my first time reading from this author. The plot was good with great pacing and just the right length as well. Fuck I really loved this book.

Review: Disengaged

Disengaged Disengaged by Jamie Magee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 Dark Stars*****
This was my first read for Jamie Magee and I was simply blown away. This book has all the stuff that keeps you reading and not stopping. Ember was raised by her grandmother in a small town; when her grandmother passes she then goes with her father who has barely been in her life. Ember is thrown into a world unlike the one she has lived in all her life with danger everywhere even at home with her dead beat father. Slayton enters Embers life like a very intense storm and in every storm there is something beautiful and that’s what Ember see’s when she first sees Slayton. Ember is very confused about what’s going on between them at first until Slayton explains to Ember the danger she is in because of her father daemons that he can’t let go of. Fast forward Ember gets caught up in all the things Slayton was trying to protect her from the seedy underworld of drugs and sex slave trade, underground fighting and death. Their story is not your everyday love story; their story is dark, gritty a dirty journey plague with sadness, it’s not the everyday happy ending but they get there.

Review: Rebellious

Rebellious Rebellious by Gillian Archer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 Crazy Stars*****
This books starts with Emily having enough of Tucker being ignored by his mother (Rhonda) nights of not being feed properly and not being able to get in to the apartment when he forgets his keys and not being able to get a hold of his mother. After finding him locked out sitting outside locked out for the umpteenth time with of bag groceries aka junk food; she bring him in and questioning Tucker about his dad. Tucker goes on to tell Emily how much his dad is a good dad; Emily convinces Tucker to let her take him to his dad. Turns out Tucker’s dad is her BFF Jessica husband-to-be Zag Prez of The True Brothers MC also known as Reb or Rebel (Jessica and Zag are introduced in book 1 Ruthless and you do not have to read 1 to read Rebellious). Emily informs Reb what has been going on with Tucker and expresses that she thinks his environment might not be better for him after all. Reb wants to prove to Emily that she wrong and invites to stay the night at his home to prove her wrong; things get heated and fast chemistry between them is undeniable. Reb takes Emily home and finds out that she has a stalker who she believes ids her abusive ex-boyfriend Michael.
This book is full of twist and turns that I did not anticipate and I loved it. This book had nearly a bit of everything from stalkers, crazy ex-wife, crazy sex, love, funny good banter. Emily and Reb story is of the wills; willing to open up, willing to love with no questions, willing to keep the one’s you love safe, willing to let go of control and trust. I can’t wait for more.

Review: Her Survivor

Her Survivor Her Survivor by Vonnie Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***3.50***
This was my first read for Vonnie Davis and was ok read, it could have been executed. Dustin is a Navy Seal who state side recovering from his war injuries (mid-calf amputation along with severe facial scarring, PTSD); Kelcee is running from her past. Dustin is invited to stay at his commander-in-chief ranch for some more healing; his commander-in-chief offers Dustin services to Kelcee to help face lift her book store that she just inherited. When they meet the sexual tension and chemistry between them was off the wall. After an initial first meeting that does not go well, Dustin and Kelcee quickly rebound and soon both of them think they might have found that someone that neither of them was looking for. From the minute they met the tension was there, even though they did both not want it, Kelcee and Dustin find that friendship and trust that turns into love. Not only are these two great, but all the sub-characters are funny, well thought out people which makes you keep reading. The paramount thing about this book gives a very good insight to what a lot of soldiers deal with during and after war. Nevertheless I would read another book in this series.

Grit Grit by J.M. Walker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

****3.5****

The books story was good, the author just bounced around a bit too much for me and I never really got a true understanding of things. Angel is the leader of Vice-One (Navy Seals) and Jay is Prez of the Kings Harlots MC an all-female MC. This is my first all-female MC read it was and interesting twist with Military. Angel is owner of construction with his brother from Vice-One work for him; when he's called to a job site, he's completely taken back by Jay and the same can be said about Jay. The chemistry between these two dominants is off the charts. Part of Jay is missing and she is trying so hard to find the missing piece it’s her sister. Girls are going missing and no one seems to be doing anything about it; Jay however is determined to make these disappearances stop and find her sister. Angel and Vice-One have been on secret missions looking for these girls and the person behind all off this. I enjoyed the mystery in this book; you didn’t know what was going to happen till the end. I’m not going to lie, I was just as shocked as most people where.

Review: Necessary Evil

Necessary Evil Necessary Evil by Jamie K. Schmidt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

****4.5 Hot Stars****
This was my first read for Jamie K. Schmidt and I was not disappointed at all. Lucy is a public defender, she has made it her life mission to make sure that every person who is tried on trial get a fair one whether they are guilt or not. Evan (Evil) is an ex-cop, bar owner, motorcycle riding; the SOB’S is his group that goes after murders, drug dealers, pedophile and rapist all criminals that get off with technicalities. The book starts with Lucy being mugged and Evan interrupts the mugging and comes in to save her and make sure she gets her purse back, this is where you think their story starts but it’s not it started 2 years ago at Even retirement party; things got hot heated and Lucy shuts it down not wanting just to be FWB (friends with benefits) and ever since has kept it that way. But Evan has fought his attraction to Lucy since that night. But now Evan is determined to make his claim on Lucy and Lucy determined to try to be the FWB that he once wanted her to be. The chemistry between these two is so explosive, the sex scenes WOW. Orders given to the SOB’s may be the reason they might not have a happy ending. I really liked this book, it was reads at a good pace, I can’t wait for more. It is definitely a must read or put on your must read list.

Riot Riot by Tillie Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 KNOCKOUT Stars*****
Where do I even being with this story; Tillie Cole really knows how to work my emotions gets me to cry every time. This series is one of my favorite hands down. Since the first book I was captivated by the modern day gladiators (slaves) conditioned to be fighters, cold-stone killers.152 has been brought to service her new Master; but 152 can’t remember where she was before but she knows she should scared and fears what's to come. 152 learns she the Master “High Mona” now and the new drug she given is nothing like the one she was given before; this drug will have her begging for release and she remembering things from her life before being taken away and a boy she can’t fully remember and a man in a collar controlling him. 901 is the Master unstoppable champion in the blood pit with no weakness; 901 has spent 21 years of his life in this hell becoming the fighter and being submitted to his Master drug to control him. 901 only way to rebel against his Master is not fight the way he told and never taking a mona when his Master sends them to him as prizes. Master always finds a weakness to get what he wants from his fighters but 901 weakness might break Master and kill 901. When 152 is showed her new home and the blood pit by Master 901 attention to 152 does not get noticed by Master. The first time 901 see’s 152 it’s the first time he ever wanted something and he knows that it can also be used as a weakness but he knows he could never have 152 she the Master High Mona and does not want a weakness for Master to use against him. Since 901 continues not to follow Master orders 901 punishment is 152 she ‘given’ to 901 as a prize for him being champion fighter and 901 can’t turn her away Master’s orders. 152 can’t understand what she did wrong being Master High Mona why is she being given to 901. Can 152 and 901 survive Master twisted game? Will 152 remember who the little boy is or the man with collar? Can 901 find happiness with 152? Will 901 and 152 ever be free from Master? Can they be more than just numbers, more than a fighter, more than High Mona?

Review: Beast

Beast Beast by Savannah Rylan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

****4****
This was my first read for Savannah Ryan and I liked it and was I was very surprise by it. This book is about two totally different people in the world one who breaks the law and one who is the law and how they fall in love. Beast in his past life was a Marine but when he walked away from that life with no direction in his life he end’s up become a member of Right Outlaws MC. Ryan is her father’s daughter flowing right in his footsteps and is an office of the law in Chicago. Ryan comes home to take over her dad’s position as sheriff when her mistake in Chicago cost the life of her partner; she thinks this will be safer than the big city little does she know there's more danger here than the big city ever dreamed of. Beast goes to meet with the person who will be taking over the sheriff’s job and is making sure that the agreement the Righteous Outlaws have with the sheriff will still be intact. Beast was shocked when Ryan turned out to be a beautiful woman even in that an ugly as hell tan uniform. The relationship between Beast and Ryan is as sweet as it is intense and fiery passion. And the Righteous Outlaws show us of how important family is and how there are no lengths too long when it comes to protecting them. And throw in action, explosions, a passion that crosses the line and a love that is as explosive as any bomb blast and you have a story that drags you kicking and screaming through each page as we learn more about Beast and Ryan, their past, present and future. Makes this book a good read.

I just want to run around in Amo Jones mind for just bit. I couldn’t believe what I was reading and I was completely sucked in and sitting on pin and needles waiting to see how this was going turn out, while saying myself as to what kind of madness am I reading. As always I was not let down by the Amo Jones (sidebar my dream Amo Jones and T.M. Frazier write a book together what kind of craziness could they write together). Millie is way more unhinged in this book and Raze will do anything for his Queen. Millie becomes her own in this book and she will protect what she loves at any cost even questioning Raze. Their so much torment and chaos and mystery going on around them we get to see Millie strength and loyalty and her commanding. We get to see Millie establish more of relationships and you also see a little more of Raze’s unscrupulous and ruthless motley crew, “The 6”. That’s all I can say without giving to much more away YOU MUST READ THIS!!! I can’t wait for the next book.

Review: Black Swan Affair

Black Swan Affair Black Swan Affair by K.L. Kreig
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 Excellent Stars*****
I finished Black Swan Affair days ago and I could not even figure out how I should write this; this book had my emotions everywhere and glued to it for more. Black Swan Affair was perfect it had my eye’s watering on more than one occasion, intense gripping story. This was my first time reading anything by K.L. Kreig and she did not displease me at all.
This book jumps from the past and future the whole time between Maverick, Killian and Kael and it has you trying to solve the puzzle the whole time it had me thinking I knew who it was but I would read the next chapter and I changed my mind again; the angst, agony, pain, love, confusion, guilt, pleasure, every single thing took me on a roller coaster ride. For this book to be about a love triangle and to not have any cheating involved is beyond me, now emotionally cheating is a whole other story. Maverick has grown up loving two boy’s her whole life, Kael her best friend and Killian who she head over heels for. When Killian betrays Maverick with no good reason (yes there is a reasons) she does what she thinks will hurt the way she hurting; she going to marry her best friend Kael, Killian brother. Review: Everything for Her

Everything for Her Everything for Her by Alexa Riley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 Obsessed Stars*****
So I love Alexa Riley books they are always good short and dirty; Everything For Her is full length novel and I loved it. At the age of 17 Mallory had no idea that she had been claimed by Miles and he knew Mallory was not ready for that claim and still so young. From the moment Miles laid eyes on Mallory he started the plans that would pave their future together and will lead Mallory to him when the time became right. Will Mallory accept her fate? Will Miles ground be all for nothing? Will Miles and Mallory have happily ever after? You won't believe the devotion, the secrets, or the lengths that Miles will go through for the woman he adores. This is a must read it was so good; I can’t wait for the next one.
