Review: Rein In

Rein In Rein In by Anne Jolin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

****4****
Anna Jolin writes a beautiful, emotional tale of love and second chances, not just in love but in life. From the beginning, you are gripped and tossed into a scene of such sadness. You’re left with a glimpse of a moment that haunts a man whose heart will take hold of you in ways that make your soul ache; Rhys White will make your heart hurt. Aurora Daniels the kind and tender-hearted one in the family, she is constantly told she has a "Big Heart" which she interprets as a criticism, that those saying it really mean that she's weak. Aurora spends some of her time volunteering at Equine for Hearts facility working with troubled youth helping rehabilitate, she helps them by working with the horses. Equine for Hearts is expanding with helping parolees to get on the right path in life and giving Aurora chance to become a part-time staff. Equine for Hearts is giving Rhys the second chance a life changing opportunity; but deep down Rhys thinks doesn’t deserve light he believes in the darkness. Aurora starts her new position helping with parolees and becomes intrigued with Rhys (Crow) she never meet anybody like him before. When she reads his file and what he did to land him in prison she needs to know why. Rhys knows he no good for her and he doesn’t deserve her light tell’s Aurora to stay away. Can Aurora's light shine bright enough for the both of them? Can Aurora break down Crows defenses? Will Rhys second chance let him have the light (Aurora) he needs so bad? Can Aurora get Rhys to open up, or will he shut her out? What happens with Rhys past comes back to haunt him? Will Aurora be able to keep Rhys out of trouble? Will Rhys be able to save himself and Aurora this time?
