Preston is a trained assassin, but he not a bad man he working for the good guys. Eight years ago one night changed his path in life. Eight years ago Emma’s life changed when Preston disappeared out of nowhere with no trace and leaving no reason behind for her or his friends. Preston the craving to kill became too much one night finally giving into his father request to join him. Eight years later Preston work has him like a machine but he only wants to serve justice to the person or persons who murder his mother and sister. Emma is brought back into Preston life to reel him in; neither Preston nor Emma have a clue what’s going on yet. When Presto boss summons him to come home he is faced with the one person he thought he could leave behind. At Emma’s boss dinner party she faced with the one person Preston who she could never forget but what hurts her is when he acts like he has no idea who she is. I was sucked into this book and could not stop suspense, sex, violence and about that 2nd chance. So looking forward for Wade’s book next.
