Review: A Thousand Letters

A Thousand Letters A Thousand Letters by Staci Hart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*****5 Knock Out Stars*****
My first read by Staci Hart and she absolutely blew me away; this was one of the most emotional reads I’ve read so far. I had watery eyes through the whole book not all sad tears some tears of glee some tears of sorrow some tears for the stunning words that was used. Second chance is what this book is about, 2 broken people that need to heal and they need one another to do that. Elliot and Wade were childhood sweethearts that thought they would be together forever but forever was until Wade left for the Army and promises were broken and forever wasn’t promised. For years Wade and Elliot carried their regret and pain by their choices. When Wade’s father falls ill Elliot and Wade have face each other after avoiding each other for so long. Elliot has to be there for her best friend Sophie Wade’s sister but she doesn’t know if her heart can handle it. Wade has been very good at avoiding Elliot when he comes home and his family has been good at not bringing her up; but coming home this time he knows he won’t be able to avoid her any longer. Elliot and Wade have so much hurt and so much unsaid word and baggage it hurts so bad when they are together, and you feel it when you read you feel the turmoil the pain the vulnerability of them but you feel there strength to survive one and other. Read this book it’s a game changer!
