Review: Kiss the Boys

Kiss the Boys Kiss the Boys by Chris Myers
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

****4.25 Hunt Brothers Stars****
This was my first read from Chris Myers AKA Diana Downey and it was a good read; this book is raw and dark and hopeful there so many different emotions in this book. From the very beginning that we are introduced to these characters you feel what they do. Three brothers are dealing with their life they have been dealt. A mother of 3 sons knows her boys better than anyone else until River. River is running to get away from the life she was dealt, she just trying to survive but her past won’t let her. River meets Noah the night her life went further down the rabbit whole and she thought she would never survive it; forced to sleep in her dead car until she figures out her next step. Noah out walking the dog like he always does when he spots a girl sleeping in her car and the weather is bitter cold and the snow is coming done; Noah decides he going to help her. Nate has spotted his falling angle without even getting to see her full face or hearing her voice, but when he sees his brother helping her he wants nothing more than to step in, but what Nate doesn’t know is that his brother his twin has alright want’s to stake his claim on River. Nate steps in to help Noah with River when she bleeding. When River meets their mom she can’t believe that there are people out in the world who want to help her. Jake was injured in Afghanistan loosing half his leg; coming home was not easy he lost everything and his girlfriend left him as soon as he was home. When Jake first lays his eyes on River he can’t believe how beautiful she is and why is she not afraid of him and she’s not taking his crap; Jake already knows what his mother is up too. Three brothers, three pasts, three personalities; one broken girl with a broken past but who is very naïve in nature but very aware of her needs. This was definitely a good book makes you see the good out all of the bad and death and tragedy.
