I love this series so much each book gets better and better. I’ve been curios about Luca since the first book. Isa Grandfather is the Don of the Cosa Nostra; her future is already planned she is to marry Angelo Scardoni her grandfather’s youngest capo. But Isa heart has always belonged to another but she will do what she must for family. Isa has always loved Luca since the age of 6; from a far her love is very much unrequited since there is a 16-year age gap between them. Luca caught his wife cheating and finds himself divorced and learning to navigate being a signal father and keep his positions as a Capo of the Cosa Nostra. When Isa grandfather falls ill things change for Luca and Isa. The Don wants Luca to his successor and the Don has changed Isa upcoming marriage plan. Luca is not to happy that he must marrying a 19-year-old Isa and Isa so happy that her wish is finally coming true. Luca tries he damnedest to avoid his young Wife, but Isa is not going to have it. Not everyone is happy about Luca becoming Don. When Luca gets a concussion and wakes up very confused as to who Isa is. Isa soon relies things are about to change and she will do any and everything to protect Luca. As Isa proves her worth Luca is starting to understand his wife is not young and naïve as he thought she was meant to be with Don’s wife she can be just a vicious any man under the Cosa Nostra. I can’t wait for the next one.
