Can L.J. Shen do any wrong? I mean come on she gives us nothing but exceptional reads. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me up most of the night to finish reading. Full of angst, beautifully broken characters, sizzling romance and a plot that keeps you glued to the pages just to get more. Alex will steal your heart and imprint himself on your soul so you can’t forget about him. Indie is a peculiar introvert who is in desperate need of money; she lives with her brother and wife and nephew, and life has gotten messy for them one way or another. With Indies brother who is becoming an alcoholic and a nephew who needs medical care she takes a job that will change everything for them all. Indie takes the job babysitting the infamous Alex Winslow British Bad Boy Rock Star fresh out of rehab. Alex is cocky, callous, ill-mannered, guarded and jaded, and Indie is innocent and sweet, down to earth and self-sacrificing. Despite their differences, they do have something in common. Each is tortured in their own way. GOD JUST READ THIS YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!!
