This book is not what I expected. The intensity is so different in this book Nino and Kiara’s back stories are so dark and sad. Nino is lives his life by logic decisions his emotions are locked up and never used which makes him very valuable to his family. Nino agrees to his brother Remo idea of marriage to so a truce and strengthen with family ties with the Famiglia. Kiara Vitiello’s reputation is ruined because her father dishonored the Famiglia and her family looked down on her. Kiara hope’s Nino isn’t an abusive man because she won’t be able to keep her secret to much longer. Especially marrying the Camorra’s Under boss that is emotionless, calculating, detached a stone cold killer. I’m leaving so much out.
