Ricca and Chiara are two ends of different mafia families. They do not see eye to eye but when we start to see eye to eye on their wedding night. Chiara has many layers to her she has dark lays too. Chiara has been through hell and back and determined no man is going to own her even the man who has kidnapped her and who she forced to marry. But Chiara soon learns Ricca isn't the devil she thought he is, even with all the stories her father made her believe. Ricca kidnapped Chiara to get standing in the mob and teach her father a lesson but now the plans his plans have changed Chiara is a complete surprise to him. Ricca soon learns his wife is not his enemy but his alley.
