This is my first read in the series ad it was good. Valeria’s and Chris story is full of suspense and action, so many secrets and love. So good I could not stop reading. Valeria is being held captive in a marriage to Jorge, he the leader of the Mexican cartel. Valeria married to a man with no mercy she knows running will only bring more danger to her and her daughter. Chris was willing to do whatever was necessary to save Valeria and her daughter. Chris is an honorable man, loyal to his family. Chris is willing to do anything for the family he loves including infiltrating the Mexican cartel. This story is how two people find love out of the negativity around them.
