I will say this once again Penny Dee has done an outstanding job with this series each book is good and gets better. Chance broke my heart; he not the man he once was. War has left Chance scarred inside and out and no longer opens his heart and had become the monster that everyone thinks he is. Cassidy has been through so much for her young age and running from her past. When Chance make Cassidy an offer she can’t pass up he didn't ’now everything would change from them both. Cassidy past is making its way back to the for front of her life and she will to leave but something holding her back. Chance finds himself doing something he thought he would never be able to do again; protecting Cassidy is no long a want it’s a need.
