Marie James does an amazing job with each of this books in this series and in her other series. Ivy and Griffin have been friends all their lives both parents are apart Cerberus MC; Ivy has had a crush on Griffin all her life and Griffin has always had a soft spot for Ivy and their friendship. Things changed over time for them Ivy off at college and Griffin in the Marine’s. Griffin is being discharged from the Marine’s for doing something stupid so he could get away from his superior. When Ivy hears this she comes home running to their for her friend but when Ivy comes home Griffin not the boy or man she once knew. Griffin wants nothing more to be left alone from his family and thrown into a tailspin Griffin has no clue who he is anymore and his demons haunt him to the point where a bottle is the only thing that will help. Can Ivy pull Griffin out the dark whole? Can their friendship survive? Will Griffin and Ivy finally hook up?
