This book is emotional ride and it full of suspense. At the age of 17 Dover (Collector) life changed forever; at the age of 9 Emerson (Sonnie) life would never be the same. When Dover sister Raleigh goes missing on his watch he has felt nothing but responsible every day. The day Raleigh life changed she lost her best friend and her parent kept her under constant supervision and did not have an outside life anymore she had been broken ever since that day. Fast forward Dover is now part of the Devil’s Due MC there goal is help solve crimes and help get justice for victims but they also have been working the cold case of Dover sister. Emerson finally breaks free of her parent’s hold she becomes "Sonnie" and finds herself working for "Old Dog" as a tattoo artist in a small southern town. When Sonnie past catches up and it brings with it Dover, Raleigh’s older brother Emerson knows the guilt he carries and wants to help him see that it wasn’t his fault, what she doesn’t expect is the forceful attraction they have for each other. With each of them being a reminder of their past can they really have a future? And will Raleigh’s killer finally be brought to justice, the Devils Due way?
