This was my first read by Alyson Santos and she has written one of the most impressive stories I’ve read. This book is very intense, passionate and unique; it will have you thinking this story is going this way and then out of nowhere it changes. Callie is from a small town and is trying to find her own way in the world when she meets the mysterious Luke; they forge an unusual friendship, that neither one of them realized they needed one and other until they were in one another life. Callie had no idea who Luke was which made the story that much better. Luke was lead singer of a popular band (Night Shifts Black), after having experience a lost that makes him loose his way in life he walks away from it all and his band mates. This book will give you hope and make you believe, it’s a powerful story of friendship courage and loyalty and healing and compassion. I definitely will read the next book!
